ĀN JÍ is a Naarm (Melbourne)-based producer and vocalist. Drawing inspiration from Chinese dance music, experimental and pop, ĀN JÍ creates ethereal ballads over beats.



With symbolism enriched and guided by discoveries through her Chinese heritage, ĀN JÍ explores growing pains, magic and moments of serenity. She is an alchemist of personal experience and left-field sonic exploration.



ĀN JÍ expresses through a vast palette of sound–—from phone recordings of rain hitting the gutter, to samples of knives and chains, to the old piano in her bedroom.
